This course is at stage 1 of the PTI four stage training model

Synopsis The course introduces mainly non-directive play techniques based upon the humanistic model of Carl Rogers and the work of Virginia Axline, Violet Oaklander and Mark Barnes. Participants will experience non-directive play therapy for themselves through sandworlds and a dip into the main skills (art, music, movement and storytelling ). Employment opportunities and training requirements for working therapeutically with children will be discussed.
Venues APAC, PTUK, PTC & PTirl have permanent training centres in Canada, France, Ireland and the United Kingdom. These courses are also run according to demand in other countries.
